Who I Am
Hi, I'm Ionut. I am a passionate Full-Stack software developer and systems engineer based in Italy.

My journey combines the precision of the physical world with the versatility of the digital one. In my day-to-day life, I work as an industrial machine operator, manufacturing custom mechanical components and springs, adhering to the strictest technical tolerances. I apply this same rigor and attention to detail in the digital realm: building web and mobile applications from scratch, administrating complex server infrastructures, and deploying artificial intelligence solutions directly on my own hardware.

What I Do (Areas of Expertise)
Full-Stack Web Development: I build complete and scalable platforms using PHP and the Laravel ecosystem. I design everything from scratch: from complex marketplace platforms to affiliate comparison web apps, including modular admin panels and data extraction (scraping) architectures.

Native Mobile Development (Android): I create mobile applications with advanced network functionalities. I build solutions capable of native SMB file streaming, media buffering, and persistent, automated background synchronization with local storage servers.

Infrastructure, Networking & Self-Hosting: I design, configure, and manage local server environments. I work extensively with TrueNAS Scale, Docker containers, Raspberry Pi ecosystems, and custom routing solutions to create secure and high-performance networks.

Artificial Intelligence & Local LLMs: I don't rely exclusively on cloud solutions. I run, test, and integrate large language models (LLMs) directly on custom hardware (Linux, multi-GPU), using frameworks like llama.cpp, Ollama, and MCP servers.

Technical Diagnostics & Hardware: I understand systems at a foundational level. Whether it's configuring a car diagnostic interface to resolve mechanical errors or precisely assembling bicycle components, I like to know exactly how the technology under the hood works.

How I Work (My Approach)
Efficiency Through Customization: I use Zed Editor as my primary development environment, meticulously configured via JSON with specific profiles and extensions, allowing me to write code quickly and without distractions.

"Bare-Metal" Control: I prefer to develop, test, and deploy on my own infrastructure. I plan complex physical architectures (such as AI server clusters on Linux systems) to maximize hardware performance and efficiently manage computing resources.

From Concept to Production: I do not use off-the-shelf solutions. I analyze architectural requirements, plan the underlying logic, and write the code from start to finish to deliver fast, clean applications perfectly tailored to the project's needs.
